Drugwatch -- A 'Health on the Net' code certified health information provider dedicated to spreading awareness about Cerebral Palsy, Erb's Palsy, and other health and wellness topics. 

 

Down Syndrome:

National Down Syndrome Society (ndss) -- This website provides general education and information about Down Syndrome as well as a variety of resources, including a description of therapies and medical/community resources that could be beneficial to your child.

 

Down Syndrome Association of Northern Virginia -- A local resource providing education and support to families and individuals with Down Syndrome.

 

Feeding:

Feeding Matters -- This website provides a wealth of information about education, research, treatment, and advocacy related to pediatric feeding struggles. Here you will find a Provider Directory of pediatric medical providers and specialists that serve the complex needs of children with feeding struggles as well as a Resource Directory compiled of articles, products, published research, conferences, and other areas of support.

 

Early Identification:

First Signs, Inc. -- A national non-profit organization dedicated to educating parents and professionals about the early warning signs of autism and related disorders.

 

Centers of Disease Control and Prevention -- program developed by the CDC to improve early identification of children with autism and other developmental disabilities so children and families can get the services and support they need. Assists parents in tracking their child's developmental milestones as well as provides resources and free materials if you are concernd about your child's development.
